Did you know you can take your family on virtual Disney rides from the comfort of your home?
At La-Z-Boy Home Furnishings & Décor, we’re big fans of Disney and love how YouTube can transform your sofa into a rollercoaster.
In this article, we will take you on a few of our favorite virtual Disney rides!
1) Splash Mountain
Splash Mountain is a log flume ride based on the characters, stories, and songs from the 1946 Disney film Song of the South.
This virtual Disney ride begins with a peaceful float on the water leading up to 50 foot drop.
We promise you won’t get wet while you watch on your big screen at home.
However, it might be fun to flick water on your fellow riders when they’re not looking.
2) Frozen Ever After
Frozen Ever After takes you on a voyage aboard an ancient nordic vessel through the wintery world of Frozen.
You’ll travel into the icy blue world of the North Mountain where Queen Elsa’s enchanting ice palace awaits.
Be sure to keep an eye out for Anna, Olaf, and more of your favorite Frozen characters.
3) Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
Your family will be blown away by Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
This wildly detailed virtual Disney ride is unlike any of the others on this list.
Your crew will join the Resistance in an epic battle against the First Order and Kylo Ren.
4) Test Track
Test Track takes you on a high-speed excursion through the rigorous testing Chevrolet uses to evaluate their concept cars.
The ride begins by creating your own vehicle to test on the simulation track.
After putting your test car through the motions, this ride culminates in a lightning fast race around the exterior of the building.
5) Expedition Everest
Expedition Everest is an incredible outdoor rollercoaster that will take you on a back and forth adventure in the mountains.
This virtual Disney ride will take you through the icy Himalayan peaks while avoiding the clutches of a mythical yeti.
Fun fact: Expedition Everest took six years to design and cost $100 million making it the most expensive rollercoaster in the world.
