Meet Sydney Hooper, Interior Designer at La-Z-Boy Northlake

Sydney Hooper is from Huntersville, North Carolina. Her path to interior design started on a college tour — she had visited plenty of campuses that all blurred together, but High Point University was different. When the school described its belief in creating an environment that inspires, prepares, and makes you feel at home, something clicked. She wanted to help other people find that same feeling in their own spaces.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and holds a Life Skills Certification in Global Showroom Merchandising and Client Experience from High Point University.

Her style leans modern and contemporary — light, neutral tones grounded in a room and brought to life with pops of color.

Outside of work, she’s usually sketching, reading, or planning her next trip. She shares a home with her cat, Maximus, and spends race weekends watching Formula 1.
